Nails - my beauty non-negotiable!

Nails have been my non-negotiable beauty expense for over 10 years.
Even when I first separated from my ex-husband and had no money, (and I mean NO money!), I still allowed myself my nails.
I went without getting my hair done, beauty treatments, decent skincare.... you name it.
But I had my nails.
I have varied in length and shape over the years, but I now go with a mid-length almond shape. Classic and very flattering on the hands.
Nail technique and application have come a LONG way since I first discovered acrylic at 17. I am now a die-hard BIAB (builder in a bottle) girl, and I find that with this method I get no lifting, peeling, or drying. I am hard on my nails too - I am constantly cooking, cleaning, washing, and typing.... so they get a fair amount of wear and tear. I still very rarely get lifting.
My current salon is Rendez Vou Beauty Emporium in Hope Island. I see Ruijing mainly, however Imogen is also excellent.
Both girls are amazing with nail art and hand-painted designs.
In terms of pricing - this is listed in their booking platform via Fresha.
However, here is a little snapshot:
Builder in a Bottle (natural nails) $70.00
Full Set Fibre Gel Tips $90.00
Fibre Gel Infill $70.00
Full Set Acrylic Nails $90.00
Infill Acrylic Nails $70.00
I have also seen some other amazing nail artists over the past few years, which deserve a mention.
Beautified Nails & Beauty - Lisa started doing my nails 10 years ago when my babies were still babies! She is amazing at what she does, and after a break to raise her little one, she is back in business. Based out of her home salon in Ormeau on the Gold Coast.

Sugarcoat Nails & Beauty - Anita previously worked at Rendez Vou and was my go-to girl! She is now running her own business in Spring Hill, Brisbane.
